The Master Educator course is an extensive course designed to train educators and others ways to practice and teach Leave No Trace skills and ethics. The Master Educator course provides participants with a comprehensive overview of Leave No Trace techniques through practical application in a field setting.
U.S. Backcountry Master Educator Schedule
The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics (LNTCOE) in Boulder, Colorado has designated NOLS as a provider of Master Educator Courses in the United States. Upon completion of a course, participants are registered and receive a one year membership at LNTCOE.

U.S. Frontcountry Master Educator Course |
The majority of outdoor use occurs in front country settings such as urban and state parks, open space trails and established campgrounds. The number of day hikers is currently estimated at 47 million and car campers are estimated at 42 million. This extensive four day course will emphasize the application of LNT Principles to the front country setting. The course will be conducted in a front country group campground and will include day hikes. Tuition-$450.00 (There are no discounts to this price). |
