Your NOLS expedition north of the Arctic Circle will take you around rugged islands, in and out of fjords, and along coastal brim, the lowland area stretching from the ocean to the steep glaciated peaks of the Scandinavian Mountains.

Near the same latitudes as Siberia, Greenland and Alaska, you’ll enjoy the long summer days of the midnight sun as you learn the technical sea kayaking and backpacking skills needed for an expedition of this nature anywhere in the world.

From remote coastlines and limestone caves to forested valleys and high peaks, this unique backcountry classroom provides ample opportunity to immerse yourself in the core NOLS curriculum.
