SSR 3 This semester provides an excellent progression for developing strong leadership skills: A winter section that masters the fundamentals of backcountry travel, Wilderness First Aid taught by the Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS, climbing, and long wilderness canoe and canyon expeditions that provide great leadership opportunities. Winter Camping and Skiing -- Togwotee Pass, Wyoming. Wilderness First Aid River Travel -- Canoeing on the White River, Utah and the Green River, Utah. Canyon -- Long and Mule Canyons, Utah. Rock Climbing -- Needles, Black Hills of South Dakota and Devils Tower, Wyoming. SSR 4 Winter Camping and Skiing -- Tosi Basin, Gros Ventre Mountains, Wyoming. -
