Wyoming Backpacking Adventure

A Wyoming Backpacking Adventure is a true wilderness expedition designed for young people. For the entire 30 days of the course, your mode of travel will be your own two feet, not a crowded van.

Traveling on durable surfaces, like snow, is one of the tenets of Leave No Trace backpacking.

You’ll be with students your own age and NOLS instructors who aren’t just summer staff but some of our most skilled and highly trained full-time educators who specialize in teaching teenagers.

Gain independence and take responsibility for yourself and your companions. When you get back home, you’ll have the skills to enjoy outdoor activities on your own and the leadership qualities to help you step it up in the classroom, on the playing fields, or anywhere you want to succeed.
