CWC/NOLS Associate Degree Programs

Central Wyoming College (CWC), in partnership with NOLS, began offering college credit for selected NOLS courses in the spring of 2001 as part of an Associate of Science degree in Environmental Science and Leadership. An Associate of Arts degree in Outdoor Educator and Leadership was added in the summer of 2003.

Students 16 and older are eligible for credit. Through CWC, students can now access their Federal Financial Aid or AmeriCorp Stipend to pay for their NOLS courses. Click here for more information.

NOLS and Central Wyoming College (CWC) in Riverton, Wyoming have partnered to offer two degree programs:

• Associate of Science in Environmental Science and Leadership—During the NOLS portion of this degree program you’ll develop environmental awareness and conservation ethics. At CWC you will complement this with a classic natural science education.
• Associate of Arts in Outdoor Education and Leadership—Designed for students interested in careers in outdoor education or environmental education and activism, this degree program combines one or more NOLS courses with education and liberal arts courses at CWC.
