Telemark & Avalanche Training in the Tetons

Do want to learn to telemark, improve your tele-turns, ramp up your snowboard skills, or gain avalanche awareness?

Well, here's your chance to spend 6 days at NOLS' Teton Valley branch enjoying a mix of lift-assisted skiing and some of the best winter backcountry terrain in the United States!

The Tetons in winter are home to some of the finest powder and most gorgeous mountain scenery that exists. You'll be introduced to winter travel techniques and learn avalanche skills while based at the NOLS Teton Valley branch. Practicing your turns at Grand Targhee Ski area, learning avalanche skills and touring in the Tetons. Education and recreation—it's the perfect combination.
