Join NOLS Alumni on this unprecedented technical river rafting trip in Idaho. Travel the Main Salmon River during early summer when flows are high, rapids numerous and the river’s technical challenges diverse. This “second level” trip builds advanced paddling, rescue and multi-day river trip planning skills on top of participants’ required raft and kayak experience.

The Salmon River in June provides big water and lots of rapids to continue to develop your technical river skills and experience. We will use oar rafts, paddle rafts, and inflatable kayaks to run the river: navigating holes, catching eddies, swimming rapids, and having fun.

Big rapids, great skill buiding and tons of fun!.

If you are keen to build upon the skills you learned on your first NOLS river experience, to engage in challenging whitewater, and to enjoy great camaraderie among like minded and capable river travelers, this is a great opportunity for you!
