What is NOLS DC?

NOLS Washington DC is a volunteer, non-profit organization bringing together NOLS alumni in the Washington DC/Baltimore area. We're a focal point for communication between NOLS alumni who are seeking enjoyable outdoor-related activities and who are interested in sharing the NOLS ethos. Some of these activities build on the leadership skills and knowledge acquired through NOLS courses; others are simply occasions for alumni to socialize— on the trail, or at a local watering hole.

The NOLS DC alumni group organizes a yearly reunion (often in the fall), occasional day outings and a few overnight trips.
