Scholarship giving to NOLS is a noble gesture, but of course you still want the most for your money. If you work for one of the thousands of companies with a matching gift program, your employer will match your donation to NOLS—dollar for dollar. Some corporations will even match your donation two or three to one!

Securing the match is easy. With just a little work on your part your gift can have double the impact on the scholarship, research and curriculum initiatives that only thrive with your support.

Follow these quick steps to securing the match!

1. First, find out if your company matches employee donations. This benefit often applies to spouse and retirees, too. The best place to ask is likely in your human resources department.

2. Once you determine that a matching gift program exists, get a matching gift form from your employer and fill out the form completely.

3. Send the form to NOLS according to your employer’s guidelines. Usually the form must accompany your donation.

4. We’ll take it from there!

In addition to the personal satisfaction that comes with increasing your gift to NOLS, you also receive credit for the entire donation in our annual donor recognition lists.
