"To continue to be the world leader in wilderness and leadership education, NOLS needs to devote resources now to updating its headquarters facilities in Lander, Wyoming."

Kurt, a NOLS grad and instructor with over 120 weeks in the field, currently practices with a Denver law firm. In addition to co-chairing the steering committee of the International Base Camp Initiative, Kurt is an active member of the NOLS Advisory Council and recently finished a 6-year term on the board of trustees.

Frank, a grad of a NOLS Outdoor Educator course, is Chairman and CEO of The Compass Group, Inc., a national fundraising consulting firm .  In addition to co-chairing the steering committee of the International Base Camp Initiative, Frank also serves on the school's board of trustees.
