NOLS Video Production Internship

Job Description
The Video Production Intern will work closely with our Video Producers to develop short educational and promotional videos to further the school's mission. Tasks include cataloging, backup, and other maintenance tasks.
Interns will be evaluated on the quality of their work and their follow-through with project completion. They will be expected to set personal development goals and develop an action plan to achieve them, while producing short videos for NOLS.
Internship Goal
Upon successful completion each intern will be able to independently develop a video project from concept through production to posting on the web.
Position Location: NOLS International Headquarters, Lander, Wyoming
Compensation: A stipend of $100/week is provided
Possible Video Projects:
- 'How-to' skills videos
- Companion videos for NOLS text books
- Environmental concepts

Preferred Skills and Experience:
- NOLS graduate
- An understanding and passion for the NOLS mission
- Experience with non-linear video editing software, ideally Final Cut Pro
- Collaboration and cooperation to achieve group goals
- Experience with web-based video distribution tools (ie. YouTube, Vimeo, Blip, Facebook, etc.)
- Physically able to participate in strenuous backcountry travel while carrying a ridiculous amount of production equipment
- Attention to detail
- Most importantly, have a great attitude and be a team player
