NOLS Internships
Internships at NOLS are opportunities for people interested in
the outdoor industry to learn about the operational responsibilities
of an outdoor school. NOLS graduates are preferred and college
credit may be available.
The National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) is a private, nonprofit,
educational corporation, with the international headquarters located
in Lander, Wyoming. There are branch schools
in Lander, Wyoming; Palmer, Alaska;
Conway, Washington; Mulege, Baja California
Sur; Coyhaique, Chile; Tucson, Arizona;
Driggs, Idaho, Broome, Australia and Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada.
NOLS' mission is to be the leading source and teacher of wilderness
skills and leadership that serve people and the environment. NOLS
students enroll for a variety of personal goals, from skill development
to wilderness appreciation to leadership development. NOLS attracts the best professional staff interested in teaching
wilderness skills and leadership, and in the management and operation
of outdoor education programs.
