Internships Internships at NOLS
Gain valuable real-world experience and have fun doing it. NOLS offers a variety of internships that range in length from three to six months. College credit is available.
 
Fellowships Fellowships at NOLS
Fellowships at NOLS are opportunities for promising young grads of color who are interested in working on the outdoor field to gain valuable experience working for NOLS.
 
NOLS Instructor  

Become a NOLS Instructor

  • Field Instructor: Year-round work, instructor seminars to continue your growth, and NOLS support for personal expeditions are all part of the package. Work in the field and travel the world with NOLS!
  • Wilderness Medicine Instructor: If you have wilderness medicine and patient care experience, consider becoming a NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute instructor. We teach throughout the U.S. and around the world.
