F. Fox Benton III, Treasurer

Elected to NOLS Board: June 2005
Elected to the NOLS Advisory Council: 1998 - 2005
NOLS Graduate: Adventure Course 1981, Pacific Northwest Mountaineering 1995

Fox first took a Wyoming Adventure course with NOLS in 1981. In 1995 he returned for a 17-day 25 and over mountaineering course at NOLS Pacific Northwest branch.

In 1989 Fox graduated cum laude with a BA in economics from Dartmouth College. He continued his education at Stanford Graduate School of Business, receiving his MBA as an Arjay Miller Scholar in 1998.

Since 1989 Fox has worked in the international and domestic energy business, and currently is President and CEO of Moreno Energy, Inc.

Fox is past Chairman of the Houston Museum of Natural Science, a former director of Ember Resources and sits on the board of directors and Destination Media. Fox previously served on the NOLS Advisory Council.
