NOLS Preferred Retailers are specialized outdoor stores around the country that are familiar with NOLS and the equipment that we use on our courses (many of the employees are even NOLS graduates!) These stores have access to the NOLS equipment lists and can answer your questions about proper uses and fit of equipment.

Stonyfield Farm The nation's leading organic yogurt company, Stonyfield Farm, is the sponsor of the NOLS Bus tour "Creating a Climate For Change." Stonyfield Farm and NOLS have teamed up to encourage responsible exploration, appreciation and preservation of the environment.

NativeEnergy NOLS has teamed up with NativeEnergy™ to offset 100% of the estimated carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from our electric use and heating at NOLS facilities worldwide. Orvis Orvis and NOLS have teamed up to offer a NOLS/Orvis Wilderness Fly Fishing Course, the only NOLS course dedicated solely to fly fishing. In addition, Orvis guides provide training to NOLS staff.

GoLite & BackpackingLight.com GoLite and BackpackingLight.com have worked with NOLS to develop an authentic lightweight backpacking course: Light and Fast Backpacking. They also provide training to NOLS staff on the latest lightweight techniques.
